I have always been a life-long learner - in both the professional and personal parts of my life. To me, being an educator means life-long learning. Recently, I spent some time learning more about learning - e-learning to be exact.

I took part in a course titled, "E-Learning Instructional Design" through the Association for Talent Development. It was an eye-opening experience that has further confirmed that my true love of teaching has been with me this whole time. If you have viewed other areas of my site, you will learn that I transitioned out of the classroom and into administration in November of 2013. I quickly found immediate success as a Vice Principal, Principal, Director, and then an Assistant Superintendent. In those administrative experiences, one does not get the chance to teach as the nature of the work moves away from teaching.
The Instructional Design course has reinvigorated for me my love of teaching and learning. Please visit back soon to read more about my experiences with Instructional Design.
